Barry's professional experience as an independent media freelancer includes hundreds of projects for television networks and independent production companies. Recently he produced three documentaries for CTV's prime time documentary series W5. See Farm Troubles
In 1987 he was co-editor on the Oscar winning feature documentary "Artie Shaw - Time Is All You've Got".

He is an editor / post production supervisor and has occupied positions,
in both sound and picture. He has produced, been a voice director, cameraman, and writer.
In addition to editing on AVID, Final Cut and ProTools his skills include: budgeting,scheduling, negotiating contracts, hiring facilities, managing
staff, supervising sound mixes, ADR, web design, social media,
developing and writing pitches, proposals and scripts. He is also
familiar with telefilm, tax credits, and broadcast/distributor triggered
Barry has attended the Cannes film festival, Toronto's Hot Docs,
NATPE, Banff Film & TV festival, the VIFF and is a member of
Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, and IATSE891.
